Super Curl Care Guide
DAILY DETANGLING — NEVER DRY
Super Curl must be brushed daily, but only when wet/damp. Dry brushing dry can cause breakage and disrupt the curl pattern.
Follow these steps for best results:
1. Lightly mist the hair with water.
2. Apply a moisturizing spray or leave-in conditioner.
3. Gently detangle with a wide-tooth comb or curl brush (we love the Ibiza CX8), starting from the ends and working up.
4. Use your preferred curl product to restyle and define. (We love Davines curl serum)
Skipping daily detangling will lead to matting, tangling, and breakage.
UNDERSTANDING CURL TEXTURE
Due to the curl pattern and processing of Super Curl, it will naturally feel drier to the touch—just like the natural hair of curly or kinky-haired clients. This is normal.
To maintain softness:
• Use moisture-rich products daily.
• Opt for curl serums—they contain hydrating ingredients tailored for dry curls.
• Keep the curls hydrated and never let them dry out completely.
STYLING DO’S & DON’TS
DO:
• Cut and shape the Super Curl after install to allow for natural movement and prevent matting.
• Define with curl creams, gels, or serums as needed.
DON’T:
• Never blow dry Super Curl straight.
It won’t feel soft, won’t look silky, and will not match your natural texture. Super Curl is made to be worn curly—embrace it!
