Elite Wave needs consistent moisture and gentle care to keep its waves soft and defined.

• Wash once or twice a week as needed with a moisture-rich shampoo, followed by conditioner.

• Detangle while wet and conditioned. Gently use your fingers or a wide-tooth comb, starting at the ends and working upward. Distribute conditioner throughout the lengths, keeping it away from attachment points, then rinse thoroughly.

• Apply leave-in conditioner to damp hair, gently scrunch, and allow the waves to air dry. Gentle, low-heat diffusing is also okay.

• Deep condition every 1–2 weeks as needed. This is an additional moisture treatment, not the washing schedule.

• Between washes, lightly mist with water and apply a little leave-in conditioner as needed for slip before detangling or refreshing the waves.

• Never brush or comb the waves dry. This can cause frizz and breakage.

• For heat styling, always use heat protectant. Keep styling irons around 300–325°F and never exceed 350°F. Use a low-heat setting when blow-drying.

• Oil or serum comes last. If needed, apply a small amount to dry ends after conditioning and leave-in. Oil does not replace moisture.

• Protect the hair overnight with a silk or satin bonnet or pillowcase. Make sure the hair and attachment areas are dry before sleeping.

You can adjust every formula based on your level needs. These formulas should be used as a guide! 

Some refresh formulas can also be used to color a weft even before you install for an even more seamless blend.

Our favorite line is IGORA Vibrance or IGORA Royal and process for 20 mins

This shade will fade 1-2 levels lighter over its lifetime

ROOT FORMULA:

½ 7-1 & ½ 8-11 if natural base is cooler or weft root has faded

LOWLIGHT FORMULA:

8-0 or 9-0 depending on what dimension you need
